turizmi başlıyor
Indigo Turizm,
Kapadokya'da doğal ortamda oynanan golf sahası kuruyor.
Uçhisar Vadisi'nde haziran sonunda açılması planlanan
golf sahasında bir de uluslararası turnuva planlanıyor.
Peribacalarıyla ünlü Kapadokya, golf turizmine açılıyor.
INDIGO TURİZM şirketi, Uçhisar Vadisi'nde yaptırdığı
golf sahasını haziran sonunda hizmete açıyor. Burada
uluslararası bir golf turnuvasının da düzenlenmesi
planlanıyor.
INDIGO TURİZM ve MUSEUM BUTİK OTELİ' nin sahibi ÖMER
TOSUN, yıllardan beri en büyük hayalinin Kapadokya'da
peribacaları arasında golf oynatmak olduğunu belirterek
bu bölgede golfün turizme katkı sağlayacağını söyledi.
Bu yıl Cannes'da düzenlenen Luxury (Lüks) Fuarı'nda,
Kapadokya'da yapılacak golfün tur operatörleri
tarafından ilgiyle karşılandığını ifade eden ÖMER TOSUN
şöyle konuştu:
"Doğal ortamda oynanan CROSS golfü oynatacağız.
Çalışmalara başladık. Geçen hafta Ankara Golf Kulübü
yetkilileri Kapadokya'ya geldi. Uçhisar Vadisi'nde
oyunlar oynandı. Harita çizildi.
Haziran sonunda uluslararası golf kulüplerinin davetli
olduğu bir açılış planlıyoruz."
'Kural
koyacağız'
Cross golf çalışmalarıyla
ilgili bilgi veren Tosun şunları söyledi:
"Dünyada nerelerde cross golf oynandığını, kurallarının
neler olduğunu araştırdık. Kesin kuralları olmadığını,
amatörce yapıldığını gördük.
Kapadokya'ya özel 18 delikli cross golf kurallarını
belirlemeye karar verdik. Kuralı biz koyacağız ve
Kapadokya'ya özel cross golf olacak. Uluslararası cros
golf turnuvası düzenlemeyi planlıyoruz."
Tosun, Kapadokya'da, Uçhisar Vadisi gibi golf
oynanabilecek 10 bölge bulunduğunu kaydetti.
Ağaoğlu: Zekice bir fikir
Golf Federasyonu Başkanı Ahmet Ağaoğlu, Kapadokya'da
golf oynama fikrinin çok zekice olduğunu söyledi.
Ağaoğlu, "Kapadokya'da çok farklı bir doğal yapı var,
koruma altında, ondan dolayı cross golf yapılır.
Kapadokya, bu anlamda çok iyi bir saha olur. Kıvrak ve
ileri bir zekanın ürünü bir proje olmuş" dedi.
Geçen yıllarda Ağrı Dağı'nın eteğinde cross golf
oynattıklarını anlatan Ağaoğlu, oradan 16 yaş altı
şampiyonluğuna kadar yükselen bir golfçü kazandıklarını
kaydetti.
KKTC'de golf ambargoyu deldi
Golf Federasyonu Başkanı Ahmet Ağaoğlu, geçen hafta sonu
KKTC'nin Esentepe bölgesinde yeni açılan Korineum golf
sahasında uluslararası bir turnuva düzenlediklerini
bildirdi.
Böylece Kıbrıs'a yönelik ambargonun delindiğini belirten
Ağaoğlu şunları söyledi:
"Turnuvaya Güney Kıbrıslı, Türk, İngiliz ve Kuzey
Kıbrıslı oyuncular katıldı. Birincilik kupasını Güney
Kıbrıslı oyuncu kazandı. KKTC Cumhurbaşkanı Mehmet Ali
Talat'ında katıldığı ödül töreninde ambargonun çok ciddi
şekilde delindiğini, hatta patladığını söyledim."
Ağaoğlu, Korineum golf sahasının dünyada çok az bulunan
bir özelliğe sahip olduğunu ifade ederek, "Sahada
bulunan 18 delikten de deniz ve dağ manzarası
görülebiliyor. Tesiste ayrıca, ABD'den ithal edilen 'Seashore
Paspalum' tipi genetik yöntemlerle yetiştirilen çok az
su gerektiren özel çim kullanılmış. Bu sahada 12 ay golf
oynanabiliyor" dedi.
Cappadocia to open its
valleys to cross-country golf fans
A
tourism agency in the central Anatolian region of
Cappadocia, popular among tourists for its chimney rock
formations, is planning to promote the area as a cross-country
golf venue.
Indigo Tourism already
allows its guests to play golf in the Beyaz Vadi (White
Valley) in Uçhisar district.
Speaking to the Anatolia
news agency, Indigo Tourism owner Ömer Tosun said he had
for years dreamed of enabling tourists to play cross-country
golf between Cappadocia's fairy chimneys.
He noted that the sport
will make a positive contribution to the expansion of
tourism activities in the region, adding that the idea
of organizing a cross-country golf tournament was
introduced at the International Luxury Travel Market in
Cannes and that tour operators welcomed the idea.
"We will offer visitors to
Cappadocia the opportunity to play cross-country golf in
a natural environment. We continue to look for new areas
where cross-country golf can be played. We met with some
officials from the Ankara Golf Club about this and
showed them our valleys. They played golf in the Beyaz
Vadi. We researched the places where cross-country golf
is played across the world. We learned that cross-country
golf does not have defined rules and is played
amateurishly. We decided to define the rules of cross-country
golf in Cappadocia. In the later steps of our project,
we plan to hold an international golf tournament," said
Tosun.
“Imagine a course in
small valleys with floors of stone and sand, among fairy chimneys
and cones pierced by troglodytic dwellings, in the middle of the
imposing and surprising sites of
Cappadocia,
a surprisingly little known area (there are nevertheless a lot of
people in July – August...).
This golf course is unlike any other
and will open in spring 2008, due to the effort of Omer Tosun, owner
of the
Museum Hotel
and
Matiana Travel,
assisted by a British friend from Ankara, a golfer at heart, and
other specialists: red or orange balls, departured unique clubhouse
nested on a rocky peak, caddies leading donkeys with harnesses
decorated with colourful woollen trimmings to carry the large baskets
for the clubs and fresh drinks...
At cocktail hour, on the terrace-bar of the “Museum Hotel”, when the
twilight adds to the supernatural aspects of the landscape, a
silence descends that is only interrupted by the sound of an organ
masterpiece or a requiem. Magical! Nobody speaks.
